A letter to Ponyboy

Dear Ponyboy:

I am a Soc. I want to correct something about your opinion about Socs. Not all of us is the kind of guy you thought.

First, not all of the Socs have good grades. They have bad grades and never likes to study, but we still accept them because they are rich. Second, only few of us can afford a good car. We share cars with each other to make sure everyone can get to the place they want fast enough. Also, we do not have good girls. Even we have a lot of good girls, they do not want us. We get drunk, fight like a beast, and do things they don't like. A lot of us chose to buy cars but not a kind of mustang.

Socs who jumped you  are those Socs who always get drunk. They do not represent all the Socs. We rarely think about jump you. Only when we get mad or drunk,  otherwise we will not jump you. I feel sorry if you or your friend got jumped because only few of us really think that jump is fun.

In my opinion,  Socs are guys that are rich, have different characters and do crazy things when they are drunk. When we fight, we become a beast. We don’t usually fight like that but when we are actually get too mad, we will become another person.
